New traditions in Portugal

1.   Halloween didn’t use to be celebrated in Portugal but nowadays young people make lots of parties and celebrate it. We think this tradition started to be celebrated because people want to have fun and shops want to sell. 

2.   Saint Valentine’s Day didn’t use to be celebrated also and the reasons are more or less the same. 

3.   Children’s Day didn’t use to be celebrated in Portugal but with the Globalization and the appreciation of the Children’s Rights, people started to celebrate it.
